Reading from the West Dean Anthology at West Dean College, Chichester.

I have completed the first draft of my debut novel ‘The Paper Boat’. The first two chapters were published in June 2017 as part of a Writer’s Anthology entitled ‘Untold Stories’ produced by West Dean College.

I’ve published articles for Selfish Mother.

I have written a non-fiction title ‘Save The World: There is No Planet B‘ with Summersdale Publishers, published in February 2019.

‘THE PAPER BOAT’: NOVEL SYNOPSIS

Existing amongst ‘the mothers’, the overeducated and underemployed women at her children’s Prep school, Mills Stonebridge navigates the alliances and infidelities behind the veneer of the perfect life. She is a reluctant full time mother, living a life of vacancy in her houseboat home, moored opposite an exclusive residential estate in coastal Sussex, England. Her well-connected husband George, a professional yachtsman, is away on a tender, waiting out the hurricane season in Martha’s Vineyard, New England. Mills is unable to reach him, receiving word that he has not returned to his boat. She pretends everything is normal, telling the children that their father will return when the season ends. But will he?
